Oh don't get me wrong, I don't doubt for a minute that our closet communist president would love to have a single payer system with total government domination over our healthcare.
But Obamacare ceased being about what Hugobama really wanted and became a victory-at-all-costs once the polical debate started. So now, the government can force you, by threat of fines and possible imprisonment, into a contract with a private healthcare corporation. Yes, one of those evil corporations that lefties hate so much. You now have to deal with them.
Oh, and even better. If you want premium healthcare coverage - you know, something that covers more than what the government says is the bare minimum - you now get taxed for having healthcare that is too good.
Oh boy, what a victory for healthcare Obamacare is! |
